I am a native of Detroit, but I went to The Ohio State University to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. After graduating I went into the construction field as a project engineer. Soon after, I earned my Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. I received my secondary education degree with a major in mathematics and minor in chemistry from Baker College. I taught numerous courses at Baker College for 5 years. I have tutored a wide range of students from 1st grade with elementary math to college students in Calculus 4. I am available most times and want to see you succeed, so if you have any questions at all, please don't be afraid to ask.

My role as a teacher is to simplify the math and make the subject easy to understand and not as scary as many people would make it out to be.  Math is used in everyday life even when you are not thinking about it.  I will make connections between the learning and the real life applications, to alleviate the tension and to answer the question “When will we ever use this?”
